The spacious campsite area is on the lower level, sheltered by trees and hills in a peaceful, hidden slice of paradise. The river invites you to swim, pan for gold or have fun on a tube (equipment available). Old tailrace tunnels can be explored by the light of the myriad glow-worms. There are BBQ griddles in the grounds. The kitchen has two ovens, hot plates, microwave and fridge/freezers. A laundry with auto washer and dryer and cool locker storage. Alongside is a communal room for games or TV, with potbelly fireplace. The ablutions are good, with showers and a shub. The camp is alive with bird life and other tiny critters. Your genial hosts, Jo and Mal will lend you a gold pan to try your luck. A great environment for kids. No eftpos or visa.
