Our park is situated in both quiet and peaceful surroundings very close to the township of Picton. We are located in Waikawa, only 3½ kms drive away from Picton and off the main road, away from noisy traffic.
The park is very spacious with plenty of bushy trees, grassy areas and many different species of native birds for you to enjoy. The tent sites and power sites are very roomy providing additional privacy and comfort. To cater for all visitor needs, we offer a wide range of accommodation options, from standard to self contained cabins. At Parklands Marina Holiday Park there is something for everyone.
The holiday park is only a 5 minute walk to the Waikawa Marina, where you can launch your boat. Both Waikawa and Picton offer all sorts of activities including: boating, walking, wine trails, fishing etc.
If you require, we can provide a free pick up and drop off service to and from the camp. We can also help organize your activities whilst holidaying in beautiful Picton. Parklands Marina Holiday Park - the place to stay.
Just behind the camp there are some magnificent bush walks where you can enjoy the native bush and beautiful birds. Only a short walk away is the nearby Marina which is always pleasant for fishing, boating, wakeboarding and water-skiing.
We have lived in the area for a number of years now and have a vast knowledge to share with you. If you are just passing through with little time to spare, there are several nice boat trips out to the Sounds. There is a dolphin watch trip or a birdwatcher special. Water taxi boats can drop you off at the famous Queen Charlotte walking track and to satisfy the wine connaiseur, there is a variety of wine tours to choose from.
For family time or joining in with other park visitors, there is the popular BBQ area at the Park or you can simply relax and watch the boats, have a drink and a meal at the Jolly Roger Bar/Cafe on Marina Terrace.
We can advise you on all the local activities and book your daytrips on your behalf.
