Located at the foot of Te Mata Peak in Havelock North, Hastings, in a rural setting with shade trees and flower gardens, close to all Hawkes Bay attractions.

Our Motel units have full kitchens and are fully equipped to sleep 4-6 persons, one sleeps 10 (3 rooms), ideal for groups or extended family, often Grandparents stay in the Motel units and their families camp in the Park. Tourist flats as above but smaller.
The Lodge complex sleeps 72 (12 rooms), great for school trips, group activities, family reunions, often used with the Conference Room with catering options to suit your budget or do-it-yourself.
Over the busy Christmas break we run a holiday programme, which is enjoyed by all.

Arataki Motel & Holiday Park is close to all Hawkes Bay attractions. By car, 3 minutes to the village of Havelock North, with restaurants, cafés and boutique shops. 5-6 minutes to Hastings with Splash Planet, Parks/Gardens, and around 20 minutes to Napier and its tourist attractions - Marine Parade, Swim with the Dolphins, the National Aquarium, Ocean Spa Hot Pools and the Seahorse Farm.
20 minutes will get you to at least 4 well known wineries, plus the new Craggie Range winery with its magnificent views of its name sake - Te Mata Peak, with walks through to the giant Redwood trees and at the top panoramic views of the Hawkes Bay, or take the world renowned Gannet Beach Safari to the world's largest mainland Gannet nesting site.
