Would you like to wake up to the sound of breaking surf, to birdsong, on the edge of the ocean, with a spectacular mountain backdrop? Perhaps you would just like to sit on the beach, watch the bird life and dolphins entertain us with their flips and jumps during the summer months.

We have some awesome tenting spots nestled under the trees or set up camp overlooking the water. Children can enjoy the playground, mini-golf, flying fox, pony rides, beach volleyball and have lots of fun on the beach. At the end of a lovely day you and your family can build a fire on the beach (in the fire permitted months), sheltered under our southern stars. We welcome you to Kaikoura's only Beachfront Holiday Park, Peketa Beach. On-site shop and fishing equipment hire, pets welcome, except no dogs between 22 Dec and 10 Jan.
