Set on five acres is Beachaven Motel & Holiday Park. Only two minutes walk to the very popular surf on Waihi Beach. Good swimming, surfing, fishing, shellfish, boogie boarding available at the beach. The Beach is 9km long and you can also take the coastal walk to Orekawa Bay.

Beachaven Motel & Holiday Park specialises in holidays for families and has been under new management since May 2006.

New owners have 15 years' experience in operating family-style motel and holiday parks. We provide a full range of accommodation, from tent sites to 2-bedroom motel units. A considerable upgrade to facilities will be undertaken in 2007 but existing facilities will continue to operate until work is complete, so there will be no disruption to the daily running of the complex.
