A warm welcome. We, at Raetihi Holiday Park are located in the North Island of New Zealand on SH 4 at the top of the scenic Parapara Highway, 88kms from Wanganui, only 10 minutes from Ohakune at the base of Mt Ruapehu and 27km from the Whanganui River. We have some of the best skiing, trout fishing, hunting and river activities in the world right at our door. Enjoy some of the best New Zealand has to offer and come home to our top quality accomodation, facilities and service.

Our cabins and dining room must be seen to be believed. New and fresh! All cabins are heated and standard cabins sleep 6-7 people with 1 double bed and the balance in single beds.

Enjoy your home away from home, as you make the most of our areas activities or take that well earned rest. We even have a trout stream adjoining our grounds! And, yes, pets are welcome (by arrangement).

A huge range of activities is available within a short distance of Raetihi including skiing, fishing, hunting, tramping, kayaking, mountain biking or simply getting away from it all.
There are plenty of walks up or around the mountains, including the famous Tongariro Crossing and the Round the Mountain Track. In summer the ski lifts are open to take you towards the summit of Mt. Ruapehu with its' stunning crater lake.

Trout are plentiful in the area as it is sparsely populated and well stocked.

Guided tours are many and varied and drop-offs or pick-ups can be arranged for that hunting trip, or bike ride.
