PeeJay White Island Tours

Professional marine operators will take you on a 6 hour journey to New Zealand’s only active marine volcano White Island. This steaming beauty lies 49km off the coast of Whakatane. Step aboard PeeJay, one of two boats purpose built for White Island Tours and let the crew take you on a journey you will never forget.

Upon arrival, trained guides will give a safety briefing before you start your tour within the inner crater of White Island. Hissing fumaroles, glittering crystals, steaming mounds and standing on the edge of the mighty crater are all part of the tour. On your trip home you might even see dolphins and whales.
